“You’re making the rest of us look bad” one of Matt’s groomsmen recalled while describing they way Matt treated Sara when they began dating. I read a quote I really enjoyed on pinterest recently; and we all know if it’s on pinterest, it’s certainly legit. The quote was “what it took to get her is what it’s going to take to keep her” One of the things I love so much about Sara and Matt is even after several years of dating, they are incredibly sweet and kind with one another. The way you might expect to see a brand new couple. They are still giddy and completely adore one another.
Sara + Matt married at one of my favorite venues, The Old Sugar Mill in Clarksburg, California. There’s really no other venue like it. The Old Sugar Mill is both rustic and romantic and provides a very unique backdrop for one’s nuptials. Sara and Matt’s nuptials were quite sweet and sincere and were followed by a fantastic celebration full of laughter, a few more tears, and some awesome dance moves. Sara and Matt hired SJ’s Disc Jockey for their DJ, who I consider the absolute best DJ of all time. As usual, Joe helped provide a perfect reception for Sara and Matt’s wedding.
I often tell couples, in order for them to have authentic, organic, real images of their wedding, they can’t hold anything back. They must be authentic and truly allow us to see and document every emotion. Sara and Matt did that perfectly and we couldn’t be more fortunate to have been their photographer.

Really lovely coverage from start to finish. The getting ready/makeup images were some of my faves though.
