Mary Ann + Rique

Mary Ann and Rique met while training for their first half marathon as a fund raiser for the American Stroke Association. Which Mary Ann ran in memory of her Father. They later completed a full marathon together. While at their wedding, they had the DJ play Dave Matthews Band “you and me.” The chorus, “You and me together, could do anything baby” is a perfect depiction of their relationship. They support and inspire each other. To them, it’s not about a division of labor, it’s about being each others teammate. Mary Ann and Rique worked together to customize one of the most unique and personal weddings I’ve ever seen. From scratch Mary Ann would design and Rique crafted and built almost ever piece of their wedding decor and design. Mary Ann and Rique are incredibly infectious and genuine people. I loved shooting every second of their Cathedral of the Blessed ceremony and Citizen Hotel reception!
