I must’ve had ESP the day I received a call from Hillary, one of Hannah’s good friends, who was referred to my by Brianne She told me she was looking for a photographer for her friend Hannah, who was getting married later this year. Strangely enough, an old friend and fellow gymnasts face popped in my head and so I asked, what is Hannah’s last name? What are the chances that it would be her, right after asking I thought, what a silly question. BUT, to my surprise, it was in fact Hannah Ures.
Now, about their wedding, they married this past Saturday with gorgeous fall weather at The Old Sugar Mill in clarksburg. I absolutely LOVE shooting Weddings at The Old Sugar Mill, I love the character of the place. The beauty and authenticity of it is unlike any other venue.
Hannah and Alec opted to see eachother before the ceremony which gave us lots of time to really take advantage of the many spots the Old Sugar Mill has to offer!
so I totally know this is out of focus, but there’s something kind of abstract I actually like about it.
Hannah and Alec’s First Look, I love how Alec embraces her
I love this candid shot of them walking together, him helping with the dress, the light, everything!
so this one is by far my favorite of the day. Hannah looks FIERCE!
13 bridesmaids, 14 groomsmen, 6 flowergirls and 6 ring-bears, ladies and gentlemen THIS is a WEDDING PARTY!!
I love the romance in the room at the Receptions at The Old Sugar Mill
the kids at this wedding were TOO CUTE!
after the ceremony concluded, they all did a little song and dance to “you’re the one that I want” from Grease!
