Chelsea + Dan married at Walker’s landing at Omni Amelia Island Plantation and I’m so excited to share a few highlights from their day! When I first met Chelsea + Dan I was very pleased to hear that they were mostly excited about the photography aspect of their day. Of course, as a photographer, this is music to my ears! Aside from the time we had to create portraits, there were so many moments from their wedding that I enjoyed documenting! Their ceremony in particular was one moment I was so happy to witness. One thing I loved was the fact that all of their closest family and friends traveled all the way down from Michigan and surrounding areas to celebrate the love of these two. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the crowd when Chelsea walked up the aisle with her father and Dan seeing her for the first time as a bride! During their ceremony, after they shared vows, they had a sand ceremony where they dropped dirt from walkers landing and their home into a pot and planted a tree. I thought this was such a beautiful way to represent how they will continue to grow as a couple, planting roots wherever they may go! Chelsea + Dan couldn’t have had more of a perfect day, the love between these two and their families is just so profound!
