I watched it all week long, as I imagine Nicole and Jordan did. First, it was 90% chance of rain. Then it was 80%. Two days before…100% Absolute certainty. Being a bride right now, and planning our own wedding has really allowed me some insight into what it’s like on the other side of things. It’s allowed me to understand that couples spend a year, sometimes longer, envisioning their wedding a very specific way. They get attached to that vision. They want THAT vision. And there are few who envision their wedding with rain. Now, we, like Nicole and Jordan are planing for a winter wedding and know that rain is a very real possibility. I hope that if it rains on our wedding day, I can embrace it with the same enthusiasm and carefree attitude as Nicole + Jordan did. It never once put a damper on their spirits and I adore this about them. We finished with their prep and getting ready photos and headed to the San Ramon Country Club where Nicole + Jordan would exchange their vows and would you believe it, that 100% certainty was somehow wrong. The skies cleared just long enough for us to get some beautiful portraits around the grounds of the San Ramon Country Club and we were so thankful for this! It was truly a perfect day and we were so honored to have been part of it. Nicole and Jordan are just an awesome couple with huge hearts and know how to have a good time. Just our kind of couple! Thanks for sharing it with us!
