POSTPONING
We are deeply saddened and completely heartbroken by the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. We have resumed photographing weddings as government mandates have been lifted. Still, we are finding some couples are indicating their preference and choice to postpone. We respect that decision and recognize this is a difficult time for everyone. We are making extreme sacrifices to accommodate everyone’s requests. This has come with severe consequences and devastation to the health of our studio. Still, we are here for you, and fighting to see that everyone who wishes to postpone will have a new date. This will require flexibility from our couples, as there are many couples in this position. We are all compromising and making sacrifices in an effort toward the same goal- seeing you down the aisle!
Please review the information below pertaining to what you can expect regarding your contract agreement with us and the process of changing your date.
- Our contract agreement allows for 1(one) date-change, and the fee to transfer your current date and secure a new date is $500. If you wish to transfer your wedding date beyond the current year (2020), you may also be subject to the difference in our 2021 package/service/product pricing increases.
- If you elect to change your date a second time, for any reason, this is a termination of services and no transfer will be permitted.
- To transfer services to a new date, we ask you to make your request no later than 90 days prior.
- To transfer your services to a new date, your account must be in good standings and not be past-due.
- The new date must be mutually rescheduled. If you should need to postpone, please contact us with the dates you’re considering first, so that we can advise you on availability.
- There is an overwhelming number of couples electing to postpone their wedding. In an effort to provide as many potential dates as possible for our couples, we will be confirming availability but will not assign a specific photographer to your new date until the pandemic is more stable and we have the ability to evaluate the full impact on our schedule.
- If you wish to move forward with a date we do not have availability for, you have the option to terminate your services with us. In this case, you would lose all reservation payments made, but would not be responsible for any remaining balance (if any)
We recognize that everyone has different circumstances. We’ve spent the past several months hearing from so many couples about their struggles. We’ve had countless hard conversations. Please know that we are sympathetic. You have all been on our hearts and minds. We know many of you are either traveling yourselves, have loved ones traveling, feel your guest count has been compromised too greatly, or aren’t comfortable hosting the event in current conditions. We understand and can definitely put ourselves in your shoes, we ask for you to understand our limitations and work with us to find an alternative date. We kindly ask for your understanding we can not make any exceptions or break our contract regarding your scheduled payment plan, date-change fees or refunds.
