It was love at first email for me. I knew right away I was going to absolutely love Marissa and Colin. From their quirky enthusiastic emails to the picasa account they sent to me to view some of their travel pictures and adventures together. I could tell Marissa and Colin share the kind of love you see in the movies. They are the epitome of what it means to love someone completely. I find the two of them inspiring and needless to say, I felt like the worlds luckiest photographer when documenting their day. Marissa and Colin’s ceremony was sincere, heartfelt and just from the looks they exchanged during the ceremony, you could tell just how profound their love for one another is. Marissa and Colin had their reception at the Old Sugar Mill and I feel fortunate to have been able to work with them!
We did all portraits post ceremony. Marissa and Colin opted for a First Look for no reason other than having that moment to themselves privately before they married. Apparently, Grandma isn’t a fan of having her picture taken. And yes, that hand made contact!
Always love that blue garage door! And that Granny pic is PRICELESS!
You brought tears to our eyes, Jess! Thank you for allowing us to forever relive our amazing day! We can’t WAIT to see the rest!!! Have fun on your vacation and sorry my grandma smacked you– it’s a sign of love, I promise! 😀
