After speaking with Kaeli on the phone for the first time, I knew that I was going to LOVE shooting her and Spencer, and I was right. The two went to the same high school, but it wasn’t until years later when they’d actually connect. While home from college for the Thanksgiving, they met (officially) at a bar with some mutual friends. At the time, Spencer was living in LA and Kaeli in Berkley, they exchanged info and began using the wonderful world of technology to get to know one another. They shared their first date (and kiss) at the Club Car while home for Christmas break. And finally after 10 months of long-distance dating, Spencer found his way to the Bay to be with Kaeli. Kaeli has got one of the most infectious smiles I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing. Her eyes are warm and kind and inviting. She is just full of energy, I can see why Spencer fell for her. Spencer is calm and collected and incredibly sweet, the kind of guy who takes her hand and she knows everything is right in the world. Kaeli told me just a little about the day they are planning in the fall of 2011 and I know it’s going to me SUPER unique and completely fabulous. I hope to be a part of it!
