Julia and Colyar met were just friends when a job offer required Julia to move. Her absence quickly allowed Colyar to realize their friendship was much more than he’d expected. The two endured a long-distance relationship before deciding to merge their lives in one place and that seems to have worked quite well for them.
Colyar was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida and with the warm Florida sun, the ocean and a beach front venue like the Casa Marina Hotel, they couldn’t imagine another place to get married! Although, on their wedding, the forecast called for 60% chance in rain and thunderstorms, I don’t believe a single drop of rain left the sky on their wedding. The two exchanged vows under the tent they setup as a caution for the rain. Their vows were personal, sweet, and included quotes from the book “I like you” which I especially enjoyed. There were few dry eyes during the ceremony and throughout the entire day really. Their reception was held inside the Casa Marina Hotel and was a night full of laughter, joy and celebration shared amongst their family and friends!
Love, love, love!! Emotion and beauty!! Well done!
