Gabe and Shelby had their wedding and ceremony at Forest Hill Lodge on Saturday. I always joke with my couples and tell them that I come with a “rain-free guarantee”, simply because I, to-date have really not ever had to shoot a wedding on a super rainy day. Maybe a slight sprinkle, but definitely not rain. For instance, the only day I was not booked in June of this year, it rained, and rain is an understatement… it was pouring! Well, when Shelby, Gabe and I sat down to do their planning session, the forecast was calling for rain. We ended up with a gorgeous day and my record is still in tact. (YESsss!) It was a perfect way to end the season. I am looking forward to some weekends with my family and friends and will conclude the wedding portion of the season in 2010! See ya then!

everyone-meet Julia. Things have been a little busy and consequently I’ve not had a chance to introduce her, but she is my intern! One of the biggest reasons I exist as a photographer today, was the apprenticeship I was able to do with a pro wedding photographer. The foundation I learned with him gave me the ability to grow as a photographer and I’m so grateful for that. I hope I’m able to give that to Julia in return.
So many awesome angles in this Jess, I love the variety. Lots of reception shots! Must have been a blast!
I’m so excited to be working with you! Learning lots already!
Wonderful, but my favorite is the series with the groom, precious!
