I remember the first time I spoke with Fonda very well! She had SO many questions! She was so excited and also nervous to be planning her wedding to marry her long-time love, Nick. We talked that day for what must have been almost two hours! I knew Fonda was going to be a special Bride. I truly find a place in my heart for all my brides; it might sound cheesy, but I do. I get to be part of such an intimate time of their lives, between the planning and the big day, I get to see them during very vulnerable moments and they allow me to document that. It would really be quite strange if they didn’t become very special to me, and Fonda is no exception.
What I learned about Fonda over the past 6 or so months is that this girl has an incredible heart. She has a tremendous love for people and a genuine desire to make the lives of those around her better! She has a very balanced combination of sweet and sassy, and I adore this about her. And the man that stole her heart? Well, Nick is the intelligent, kind, handsome guy with the subtle witty joke, just when the opportunity presents itself. He is Fonda’s rock and her sense of calm when she needs it. They compliment one another perfectly.
Beyond being absolutely perfect for one another, Fonda, Nick and I were a great team. Something very special happens when a couple has genuine enthusiasm and allows for creative freedom for an artist. A mutual excitement is established and everyone feeds off of that excitement. And that’s when magic happens. Fonda + Nick’s wedding was just that. It was magic!
They married at the Sacramento Memorial Auditorium, which was one of the first weddings to happen at the Sacramento Memorial Auditorium! With the help of Aimee Wendell of 2 chic events, Fonda + Nick had one of the most spectacular weddings we’ve been invited to document!
