Diana + Tim were set to marry on September 16th, 2017. About ten days prior to their wedding, the threat of hurricane Irma was introduced as a threat to the east coast of Florida. We were relatively confident the wedding set to take place San Marco Island (on the west coast of Florida) would be just fine. As the hurricane approached it moved more and more west, and ultimately, San Marco Island ended being one of the top 3 most devastated cities in Florida by hurricane Irma. Diana + Tim not only had to post-pone their wedding, they had to move the location.
I cannot imagine how difficult it must have been for them to start from scratch and wait another 4 months to become married, but Diana + Tim did it with the highest spirits one could have in that kind of situation.
The couple and all their vendors worked together to find a mutual date that everyone could reschedule to and last weekend, we finally got to witness these two exchange vows at the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa. Their ceremony was a perfect balance of sincerity and humor! It really showed the personalities of the couple and what a great match they are.
After creating a few sunset portraits, the wedding reception followed at theĀ Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa and it was so fun to document these two celebrate with their family and friends after having waited so long! We are so happy for these two and that we were able to be part of it!
