You might remember Brittany and Mike from their super colorful and ooberly adorable e session this summer. Love brings people together in lots of ways, and to this day, Brittany and Mike’s story is one of my favorites. So, I’ll tell it again. She was supposed to visit her parents that weekend, and when she told her Father she wouldn’t make it out, he responded with, “that’s okay, I wouldn’t want to keep you from meeting Mr. Right”. Little did he know, she would. (awe) Mike works with the Minnesota Twins and when the team was in town playing the A’s, they stayed at the hotel she was working at. Mike noticed Brittany, and she noticed him, but he didn’t have the opportunity to introduce himself. He asked the hotel manager for her number, and of course he said that it’s against policy to give out her information, instead, he gave him her name. So, minutes later he called the hotel and asked to speak with her. He introduced himself and asked if he could take her out. She agreed. So Mike flew back out to San Francisco the following week to take her out! They married this weekend at the Winchester Country Club in Auburn and we could not have asked for a more perfect day. I had the pleasure of working with Joe Kalamares of SJ’s disc jockey, who rocked the beats all night long and provided the up-lighting. Additionally, this was my first time working with Kim of Berry Bliss Designs and she was fantastic!! This was the peak of our season, just a few left here and there and I could not be happier with these images!

Obsessed with the black and white of the father/daughter dance. Such raw emotion you captured, without even trying, obviously. Love it, girl, great stuff.

The 12th photo, of them hugging with the flash from behind, is ASTOUNDING! I am totally in love with it!
