Amanda + Blake

June 15, 2010 by Jessica Stout 3 Comments

The wedding of Amanda and Blake has been anticipated for over a decade. Not because they have been dating that long, but because their parents were family friends and had a hunch that these two would one day end up at the alter. Well they were right. Amanda still owns little gifts and cards from Blake in the 3rd grade. As they grew older, she really only saw him as Blake, her childhood friend. It wasn’t until college when she visited him at Asuza, stayed up all night talking with him, that she found herself falling in love with him. She quickly transferred to Asuza to be with him. Blake is like chocolate to Amanda. He is sweet, comforting and a necessity. And Amanda puts the color in Blake’s world. These two, undeniable are incredibly gorgeous people, but they are just as much inside as they are out. They are polite, caring and warm people and the same goes for their families whom I adore so so so much. They married at the West Minster Church in Sacramento and their reception followed at the Tsakopoulos Library Galleria. She had a top-notch group of vendors whom I was thrilled to work with…

It was more than a pleasure to be a part of Amanda and Blake’s special day. I have been doing Amanda’s makeup from the time she was attending her high school dances, her Senior portraits, then on to her pageant days, and even into her modeling adventures, too! Doing her makeup for her wedding day was such an honor, and extremely nostalgic, as I have been able to watch Amanda grow through the years from an energetic and ambitious young lady to a beautiful young woman. Amanda has always held such a special place in my heart as a true example of sweetness and true beauty! Thank you Jessica for capturing these amazing images, and once again exemplifying what it means to immortalize such special moments. You are incredible!!
