Abby + Michael are simply wonderful. Wonderful individuals and wonderful together! I got to meet Abby a couple of months prior to the wedding and instantly loved her. She’s stylish and quirky and just so very sweet. I met Michael just briefly before they walked down the aisle as Kara photographed his preparation and groomsmen photos. I learned quickly that has a kindness about him. He is genuine and made all of use feel very appreciated.
They married at the beautiful White Room in St. Augustine. on a day that was scheduled for 100% precipitation for every hour of the entire day. We were pleased to find it was more of a constant mist. It’s no secret, I am not a photographer who prefers even/flat light, I am definitely drawn more to a dramatic and contrasting use of light. For Abby + Michael though, we loved the moody look of the evening overcast skies combined with the wet cobblestone on the streets of St. Augustine.
Can we talk for a moment about Abby’s style? I am absolutely smitten with her look! Michael waited to see her until she came up the aisle at the chapel in the White Room and I believe he was smitten as well! They continued the evening on the rooftop of the White Room and to say it was a perfect celebration would be an understatement. We are so pleased to have been there for there day, this is what a wedding should feel like! Love, laughter, good energy and celebration! Congrats Abby + Michael!
