We first met Chad of White Tie Events at Katie + Trent’s wedding back in July of 2015 and were so impressed by his professionalism and skills as a disc jockey. We began working together more and more and it was at another wedding where he told us, with the biggest smile on his face, that he’d met a girl…THE girl. We were so excited and beyond honored when Chad asked us to document their wedding and engagement. Jessica photographed their engagement session back in June and Kara with the help of Chris and Jes, photographed the big day. We started our day off in downtown St Augustine, the weather couldn’t have been more perfect as it wasn’t too hot and not too cold. After exploring the historic alleyways and even Magnolia Avenue we made our way over to World Golf Village where Chad and Mikah would soon exchange vows! They had the most beautiful ceremony with the sun setting behind them, surrounded by all of their family and friends. It was so sweet watching the two of them switch from giggles to tears and tears to celebrating as they shared their first kiss as husband and wife. Once their reception started was when the fun really began. We all know Chad knows how to throw a party, so his reception had no shortage of surprises!! For starters, they had their first dance surrounded by fog, it looked like something from a fairy tale! Later in the night, all of their guests were met with entertainers on stilts as well as dancers wearing blow up suits. Such a great way to get the party going! After several dance-offs, a t-rex appearance and an epic final dance, Mikah and Chad ended their night running through a tunnel of sparklers. It’s no surprise that Mikah + Chad’s day is one for the books and we’re so happy that we had to opportunity to create these memories for them! Congrats you two!
