As I begin to write a little about Angela + Steve, my heart is completely full. I can say with absolutely sincerity that I have never met another couple quite like Ang + Steve. They are two of the kindest people I’ve ever met and they who share very similar hearts. These two began dating many years ago and have grown up together. When you see them together, you can see just how deep and so profoundly they love one another, it makes you wonder if they have room in their heart for anything more…but somehow, they do. These two love their friends and families with just as much passion.
Angela + Steve reside in New York and decided they wanted a destination wedding in Florida. Well, they certainly got a Floridian wedding. They had intended to celebrate their Nikkah ceremony on the day that Hurricane Matthew hit northern Florida. The storm ultimately affected the schedule of their events, but nothing more. Steve + Angela’s smiles never dimmed and many of their guests changed their flights to extend their stay, so they could still attend both their Nikkah ceremony and the traditional one. The fact that so many of their guests were willing to do this, is truly a testament to the kind of people Steve + Ang are. They love big and are loved in return.
We had been looking forward to this wedding since they first booked us for their wedding, but especially so after photographing their engagement session where I got to know them face-to-face. To say I adore these two would be an incredible understatement. I’m excited to share day one of their celebration with you which begins with their Nikkah ceremony.
